Robertstown Self Catering Cottages are located in the rural village of Robertstown near Naas in County Kildare. A gentle 5-minute stroll will take you to the village of Robertstown which is built along the Grand Canal. In the village you will find three pubs, two of which have music on Saturdays & Sundays and one has music also on Thursdays nights. There is a mini-market in the village where you can buy provisions including a delicatessen, newspapers, a bottle of wine etc. There is a Traditional Irish grocery where you can get everything from a needle to an anchor (well almost). We also have a Post office and the ubiquitous Chinese Take away in the village too.

All Cottages are two bedroomed. Our bedrooms are as follows: One double bedroom with a King Size bed & a twin bedroom with two 6ft single beds. All of our beds are dressed with crisp cotton bedlinen, duvet and pillows on each bed (two pillows per person). A throw is draped over each bed. We have wool blankets in each bedroom in case you need extra warmth. We also provide a fluffy cotton bath sheet and a hand towel for each guest staying. All of our bedrooms can be adapted for you, our guest, so if you need two double rooms or two twin rooms we can arrange the cottage in this way for you. However these arrangements are by request only and 48hours notice prior to arrival is required. If you require housekeeping during your stay this can be arranged at cost of €25.00. For our younger guests we can provide a cot and high chair and again this is on request ONLY. We ask that you take along your own bed linen for the baby cot as we have found over our many years of experience (and sleepless nights) that smaller guests prefer their own familiar smells around them when they are on holidays. But if you forget then we always have spare sets of baby cot bed linen

The Kitchen, dining room and lounge area are open plan and lead to a patio area and garden overlooking the tranquil waters of the Grand Canal. This is securely fenced so children can play safely and happily. At one end of the site we have a play area with a swing, see-saw, slide and climbing rope. The kitchen is fully equipped with cutlery, crockery, pots, pans etc for your stay. We also provide tea towels, washing up liquid and other ancillaries for you. There is a washing machine and dryer in a communal room at the rear of our office building where you can do laundry if you wish. Washing soap is provided for you there.

Each cottage has a large wet room or roll in shower, wash hand basin and toilet and an second WC. Our cottages are all ground floor level and suitable for wheelchair users. Please talk to Karen about your needs if you are a wheelchair user so that we can ensure that we provide for your needs during your stay.

Our Reception office is onsite and open each day 9am to 1pm during the summer season. Saturday and Sunday we are onsite when guests are arriving departing. Off season the office is open Wednesday and Thursday from 9am to 1pm. If you need us after the times listed all you need to do is telephone us, we will be happy to pop in to see you. Our contact details are listed in the Information Folder in each cottage. We have sample itineraries available for all of our guests, from things to do on sunny days to rainy days, fishing, walking, sightseeing, historic tours to genealogy research.
