ISCF Organisational Structure
LetsGoSelfCatering is a trading name of The Irish Self Catering Federation Ltd. (ISCF). LetsGoSelfCatering.com is a bookable consumer website which sells holidays in member properties.
ISCF is managed by its Board of Directors, which is drawn primarily from the National Council, although the elected directors may also appoint a director should the need arise. The term of office for both a Director and a National Council Member is two years. At the end of each two-year term of office, both Directors and National Council Members must offer themselves for re- election at the A.G.M. Both Directors and National Council Members can only serve two consecutive terms of office, i.e. four years, after which they must take a break for a minimum of two years should they wish to seek re-election. There must be a minimum of three, and a maximum of nine, Directors.
The Chairperson is elected by the National Council, at a National Council meeting held within 21 days of the A.G.M. The Chairperson is subsequently Chair of both the National Council and the Board of Directors. National Council Members are elected at AGM. There must be a minimum of eight, and not more than fourteen, members of National Council, drawn, in so far as is possible, from the provinces of Ireland, in direct proportion to the number of paid-up members of ISCF in that province.
The business of the company, and of is managed by the Board of Directors. The function of National Council is to advise the directors on strategy in relation to tourism matters and to represent the interests of the Federation's members.

All National Council Members act voluntarily on behalf of the organisation. In addition to the legislative burden imposed on directors in relation to declaring their interest in fiduciary matters, the Articles of Association prohibit remuneration for Directors and also for ordinary members.
The Irish Self Catering Federation Ltd is a company limited by guarantee, without a share capital, incorporated in Ireland.
